Wausaukee "Excellence in Education" Foundation
Currently the Foundation is working to fund the annual Arts in the Schools Day in the spring of 2017, as well as Opera for the Young. Additional funding/grant opportunities for students in the Wausaukee District on a limited basis will be available in 2017. See announcement below:
The Wausaukee “Excellence in Education” Foundation (WEEF) is happy to announce the availability of a limited number of student stipends for activities that meet the fund mission criteria. The mission of the WEEF is to enhance district offerings and to initiate innovative projects and programs that enrich School District of Wausaukee students’ exposure and engagement in:
- Fine Arts and Language Arts
- Gifted and Talented Offerings
- Math, Science and Technology
In addition to the stipends, the Foundation supports Arts in the Schools Day, and Opera for the Young presented at the elementary school in January.
With tax refund season in progress, now may be a good time to consider a donation to the WEEF. If you are interested in being part of the legacy, please consider a donation. Any amount is appreciated. Gift cards can also be provided upon request for anyone wishing to donate on behalf of someone else. All donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible, but checks must be made out to the Wausaukee School “Excellence in Education” Foundation with M&M Foundation written in the memo line.
